Kansas City jazz pianist, composer and vocalist Jackie Myers brings a distinctive mix of technical mastery, adventurous improvisation and modern composition to the stage. A dynamic presence in KC’s jazz scene, Myers has performed at venues including The Blue Room, Folly Theater and Green Lady Lounge, sharing the stage with artists such as Bobby Watson and Bob Bowman. Her latest album, What About The Butterfly, pushes the boundaries of contemporary vocal jazz, pairing improvisation with inventive arrangements.
